The article compares and analyzes three countries - Australia, Brazil and the United States of America - and the way they approach the issue of religious pluralism in private schools, investigating which limits should be imposed on the State to protect the religious freedom of certain civil associations - particularly private schools. When considering the idea of pluralism from a Calvinist perspective, limits are proposed to the State that give private schools the possibility of operating in the religious sphere independently, without interference by the State that seeks to reduce the ethos proposed by the school. It is concluded that private schools should have the freedom to combine their ordinary school schedule with their religious vision.
