The chosen problem stems from the observation of frequent violations by state agents in ensuring freedom of belief and religious freedom for believers. It is necessary to provide a more concise summary of the decision made in Public Civil Action No. 1070617-05.2023.4.06.3800 by the 3rd Federal Civil Court of Belo Horizonte SSJ, in order to fully understand the disagreement surrounding its grounds. This research is theoretical and based on a review of relevant literature. The approach is qualitative and descriptive, with a focus on analyzing Supreme Court decisions as case studies.
