What Are the Limits under the Brazilian Legal System?

Abstract

This article aims to study freedom of expression in the context of evangelical preaching, with the purpose of analyzing its limits under the Brazilian legal system in contrast to hate speech. In this regard, it seeks to understand the legal concepts of freedom of expression and hate speech, analyzing them within the scope of evangelical preaching, studying their legal and principled limits, in order to harmonize the fundamental rights to freedom and human dignity, without offending honor, inciting hatred or violence, or promoting discrimination against any group or person who does not conform to the standards of conduct of Christianity.
